I'll take one for the screen alone.
600 x 1024 @ 5.6"

It'd be interesting to see how difficult it would be to remove the screen for other applications, if a compatible controller board exists.
What a waste of time and effort... I love it. =]
A little reassurance of my sanity:

Ebay to sell these for $450 with a $350 tax deduction
Is my mind making up stories again, or do I recall Ebay getting the rights to sell these in the form of a Buy 3/Get 1 deal?
Don't think you'll hear too many complaints on this news, though probably something that should've been implemented BEFORE the batteries began exploding.
This is great news. MS, if you are listening, you have just got yourself a return customer. I hope for everyone's sake, this business model sticks (MS listening and reacting to customer feedback). The optimistic in me, feels a change in MS's attitude.
HD-DVD Drive is a given.
I just posted a comment in http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/30/phantom-sentinel-the-new-invisible-boomerang-like-uav/ and my Name was posted as one that I haven't used here for quite some time. Which is strange, as my current name was displayed correctly in previous comments i've posted using the same email and password.

FYI - old name: sine~language, new name: bogphanny
I think that giant with the advanced lawn edger is about to beat his midget friend over the head.
Great list of features. Never really did like the look of the Street deck interface though. It just seems a little too boxy, or the buttons and fonts just don't seem to blend well, or I dunno. It can all be skinned I guess.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
