With you there Shaun, they were always just a plain white cover with the title and logo, no pictures of characters whatsoever, super classy. As a UK gamer, I consider this new approach gaudy.
I'd like to get this running on my French HTC Magic (SFR), but the link doesn't like me. Someone above said XDA is down, is that right? Play the waiting game?
I think what LameDuck was trying to get across is that Mass is a specifically Catholic tradition, not something followed by every single person who believes in God, thus making Atheism only a semi-relevant boss...
Does that mean he's maybe going to build a decent facebook app for Android? Because the current one is pretty awful...
Déjà vu? I seem to remember AC1 for the PC being eternally delayed. It was an improvement when it did eventually come out though, they sorted out all that repetitiveness rubbish.
I love The Mighty Head, but I'm willing to laugh at that video as it's a fairly well placed parody.
About 40 seconds in I was completely expecting another car to hit.
I have one of these that outputs 1440x900 and it cost me £25 at Maplin. I've also got one that I bought in 2006 that has exactly the same shell as that and outputs up to 1280x1024, which cost me £25 at the time as well. I use them for running my PS3 into my 23" monitor, and I've got no complaints...
Hurrah for UEA! I'm a Language, Linguistics and Translation student there, so this is pretty interesting for me, although we had nothing to do with the Computing Sciences guys developing this. Still, could definitely be useful in terms of translating live video and stuff, which is what we're all about in LLT...
And slowing down the Mars Volta makes me want to buy a toothbrush... why? Much as I love TMV, that song sounds dreadful slowed down like that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
