My solution for the economy? Two Words: Barter System!
I see myself entering more Joyswag contests like this.

Throwing the proverbial hat in the ring.
Actually I was pleasantly surprised. Most AT&T phones get around 1-2 bars at my house and they would always drop instantly. Just horrible. The iPhone is getting 3-4 bars where I would get 1-2 and has been solid throughout. Compared to other AT&T phones in my experience this has been much better in terms of signal.

I really like CoverSutra. Version 2 has completed the iTunes experience for me.
1. Codecs such as Divx/Xvid would be nice as everyone does use them. More importantly for me is support for the files coming off my Tivo.
2. I just don't like the new one that stays on top of everything. I'm a bit particular that I like things going back to the main menu.
3. Yeah, storage.
4. I mean like when both the Apple TV and iPod are idle it should sync. Granted video would take a while so prioritize syncing things such as playlists and other meta data. Then music and pictures. Then movies. Ideally, it could start wirelessly but if you were in a rush, you could just take it over, plug it in and it should continue from that spot.
5. Yeah, well I've seen all the movies from there that I want to see. I want new selections. It is a new deal so obviously they get a pass but we are talking ideal here.
6. By subscription based TV service I meant like unlimited viewing of the TV shows they have on iTunes already for a monthly fee.
7. I have used the remote buddy one as well. It can be done. The problem is that it mirrors the interface on the screen. It should act as a mini-front row just sending me lists of files and maybe some album art to the device. Then when I press it, it should start playing on the screen. No arrows, no screen pointing, just browsing the list. That part worked well on the remote buddy iPhone/iPod Touch remote.
8. No, not illegal. I have a collection of DVD movies. I want to be able to watch them without having to get up and change the disc. Ideally so that it is available to view everywhere in the house from any TV. Similar to Kaleidoscope.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
