Ditto with Anticrawl... I've had XM in all of my vehicles for years, but the service has just become more carp with each passing hour. It's still a better alternative to FM, but having found Slacker in the last couple of months is making pretty dern happy.
hmmm... you mean you WERE a beta tester...

"Because this is a closed forum and you will have accepted the Amazon Video On Demand Beta Program Terms and Conditions, we ask that any information posted here not be discussed or posted on the other Roku forums or on any blogs, messageboards, tech websites, etc."
Aye! I have two ("big" WinXP flavor and a "small" Linux flavor) and bought one for a friend as a gift. Everyone :) loves them!
"...it'll ship this month for a buck under $600." Nope, the Read link says a buck under $500 - "MSRP: $499"
I drink 'em too (and a boatload of other caffeine products). I find they're "better" than 5 Hour's; about the same as 6 Hour's but have a smoother crash, better shelf life and the bottle rocks. Though they taste NASTY.
Yeup, it's there. Many folks used it through the beta to force a stream because of Netflix encoding issues.
As someone else said below, the update is being rolled out over a matter of "weeks" (Roku's word). Hang in there!
No player hardware update - none is needed. The additional fun is via a software update only, and we know there's more past this.
The beta testers weren't told, we only know that "everyone" will find out soon.
Ummm... No. They're talking about the OS identifier strings that come along when a web client makes a request from an HTTP(s) server.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
