What other facts make Hydrogen a bad idea? It's a completely clean and nearly infinitely inexhaustible source of of energy. It's also a fairly safe technology IMHO because the amount of "fuel" that needs to be stored is very small and although Hydrogen is highly explosive, it can be very safely containerized in a crush-proof vessel in the bottom center of the vehicle where impacts will not cause a danger of explosion. Have I missed something?
What is the status on relocking jail-broken iPhones before installing 1.1.2? Has nobody figured this out with reliability?

There's no audible difference between 128 kbps and 256 kbps AAC. MP3 on the other hand, the difference is clear, but it's based on much older compression mathematics. At 128 kbpsm, AAC sounds more like 196 or 256 kbps MP3s.. So if I understand this right, people are paying an extra 30 cents for the right to move their files to any number of devices or computers for playback any way they please.. and to waste double the hard drive space for no apparent audio advantage.
Agreed. The Oxford dictionary lists the proper plural form as "viruses", not "virii". Stop inventing stupid words to save a syllable or a couple keys of typing. It makes you look either lazy or trendy. Neither are a good thing.
Ever use smart play lists? Tag your audio books, use playlists to eliminate them..
Oh why oh why does everyone have to get so uppity whenever religion is involved with technology? I'm sure there are plenty of iPod owning Catholics who would buy such a thing just for the value of having a cross shaped headphone necklace.. You don't have to play with it for the game value. Well, it really is a moot point isn't it since it isn't a real product.
Please! The photos that Engadget posted were so obviously Photo Shop'd, they made Angelina Jolie's lips look real!
There's nothing "OPEN" about any phone on the market! Every cell phone provider screws over their users with restrictions on the phone to one degree or another (Verizon being the worst I know of.. even locking out hardware functions like BluTooth file exchange so you have to pay to transfer photos to your computer through email. Shame!).. All of them screw you so you can't transfer applications from phone to phone, can't save and restore applications from your computer.. it's download straight to phone. Get a new phone? Buy them all over again.. ditto for ring tones unless you have BluTooth and not-Verizon. ditto for games. etc etc.

Apple would be wise to open this up.. because nobody else has! Consumers will notice new freedoms being offered and will be willing to pay more to have it!

However, Apple can't allow any old yahoo to make crapware for the phone because they don't want to be blaimed if the phones start crashing/BSOD/beach balling because someone can't program to save their life and sold their crapware to an unsuspecting iPhone user.. Hence I guarantee you, any and all new software offered will be carefully prescreened by Apple and certified not to cause issues. And I can't say I blame Apple. I wouldn't want my iPhone crashing either.. all the same, I hope they aren't so restrictive that innovation in software for it is stifled. There is a fine line to walk here.
FOUR HOURS? Bullocks! When three major servers on the regular internet go down, nobody hardly even notices.. How can just one link kill Internet 2? OOOOHhhhhhh.. Someone's getting fired!
I would not buy a phone that didn't allow me to turn off such a stupid, assanine idea! Isn't it bad enough we get banner ads on web pages? Now you want to advertise ring tones when we get calls? I THINK NOT!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
