Congratulations USA! You got a new highscore on the list of worlds most evil countries. Keep up the hard work on executing your own citizens, killing people in other countries and sometimes just cooking them a little. Good luck and hope you can come up with more nifty ways on how to make this world a better place in the future!
Best regards /UK (your very own hijo de puta)
The WOOT deal is not comparable with the 'Evo' at all. Their offer is on a standard commercial projector (with expensive bulbs). Those kinds of deal you can find everywhere (especially now at christmas time) People think they make a good deal until the lamp has to be replaced, often costing half the cheapo PJ price. The lumenlab PJ is a DIY project gone mass production. In other words it's fairly easy and cheap to replace the bulb and will most likely be upgradable when better 7" displays hit the market.
the girls are not supermodels but they are far from being ugly. anyway that's a stupid comment regardless..
4k lumen is nice BUT why does contrast has to be so low? 2k contrast ratio is nothing to boast about even compared to mainstream LCD PJs. apparently the two factors have some kind of correlevance i.e. high contrast equals low brightness and vice versa. anyone has any info on this?
This is professional equipment for professional use.
A harddrive (and a built-in battery) may work in the ipod, but not here.
Harddrives are: 1) not shock proof 2) noisy 3) not reliable

I have used this models little brother and it's a charm. Incredibly clean sound.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
