That tape drive was one of the most unreliable pieces of technology that I ever had to deal with!!

I remember typing in a program from Compute magazine that took several hours...saving it 4 times and losing it in 30 seconds. It's what made me switch to a C64 with a REAL disk drive!!
That's kinda what I was thinking too.

Why isn't EVERYTHING being covered with these things. I don't know what these things would look like easthetically but I'd take a little ugly for free energy.
Asus certainly started this category rolling but have lost their focus.

Now it's Eee(everything) and a little late for such a cash grab when there are so many worthy competitors emerging.
Many "pros" will not accept the compression of the standard .jpg settings. Try shooting in RAW, and consider something with a bracketted exposure (3-5shots in one click)......it eats up space real fast!
So the "Wind" part is what you get when pushing the turbo button and the poor (and probably noisy) fan tries to keep this thing cool?
What kind of a dumbass makes a comment like that??

Why the hell would I need I.E. 7? Now 8 (when it's ready) maybe or Firefox but splain to me what is so special about 7?

Thanks Matthew that fixed it.
Formatting on the page today is totally F'ing up things in I.E.6!!
And I hope they decide to leave that graphic off the case of the laptop. Looks like bird crap target practice.
Man that desktop version looks like a cheap toy!
OMG, Fahrenheit 451!!

My first text adventure on C64, LOVED IT!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
