Hell yeah they should. Bloody scummy schemers.
The last I heard when the 760i was rumoured was that it was going to be another 4.4 V8 with Twin Turbos and the power dialed up to 6.0 V12 levels, so if they are using a twelve, hoorah for sense at BMW once again!
"Vauxhaul is an old British brand that should go the way of the rest of the old British brands that had no unique products to offer, extinction."

A brand that sells more cars in a month than Chevy and Caddy sell in a year in the UK. Don't make assumptions if you don't know the market. The Vauxhall name is unique in itself, as it is UK-specific and that allied to cars the public buy in large numbers is more than enough reason to spend a tiny amount of money on putting a Vauxhall badge in place of an Opel one. If it wasn't for GM Europe, the parent company would be in an even worse state as the Chevy and Cadillac products just don't sell in Europe in volumes that GM would need.

Considering they have to convert the car to RHD for Britain anyway, why would GM kill off the second-best selling brand in Britain for the sake of a few badges that cost mere pounds per car? Vauxhall is a long-standing name in Britain and one of the few remaining British car brands. also, as were an island cut off from mainland Europe, keeping British names is favourable to many of us islanders.

GM would be better off selling Opel products stateside and develop them off of the Chinese market cars. The product is superior to the low-level Chevys simply because the European market wants their car to be closer to the premium BMW image and demand more of their cars. I sat in the new Vauxhall Insignia today and it is extremely well made inside compared to the Vectra before it and outside it is muscular and makes a passing nod to the E60 5-series around the rear.
I've just ordered the wide-angle and the 2x tele to go on the back of my HTC Touch, which has a metal ring around its lens similar to the iPhone. I'm not expecting miracles, but if you've got good light and a steady hand, the Touch's pictures come up OK with a bit of sensitive P'shopping. Certainly suitable for uploading to Flickr alongside my 20D shots.
Would rather have used the last M5's V8 as the M6 V10 sounded rubbish from inside and V10s I've heard from the outside (Audi S6, Lambo Gallardo) just don't sound special enough; loud, yes, but not gruff like and 8 or sonorous like a 12.
As recently proved by the public voting 'no' on a congestion charge for Manchester and labour putting road-pricing on the back burner as it'd lose them the next election, the populace is not going to lie down and be shafted by the Government when it comes to our driving freedom.

As the proposed scheme is voluntary, it's highly unlikely to be taken up by enough people to make it worthwhile.
You mean Autocar, as in tedious, factually inaccurate, typo-laden British magazine, Autocar? Do us a favour and get out of here; it's a shadow of its former self and about as entertaining as syphilis on the night you're about to lose your virginity.

The videos are dull, the presenters more-so. Driver's Republic would be a better choice of the UK car media.
If someone could make a small dock connector that utilised the same line out technology as Apple's official dock, then you could by--pass the headphone socket, which is the real let-down in the iPod's hardware.
Who would even count Samsung as luxury, anyway? They're one of the most popular phones for people on free contracts and various Pay as you go deals in the UK. The fact it looks like an over-styled £100 phone that's trying too hard seals its fate as useless, bland fudd.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
