I like the new Camaro, but I do not like the markup 3-5k over MSRP and I don't like the reliability issues I've been reading about all over the web.

For a car in the oven as long as this one was, GM needs to get their act together..
@Dave

1. Public libraries are not at fault, the parents are. Why don't we lay blame where it is due.

2. My kid has never brought home condoms. Ever. Where the hell do you live?

3. Agreed on the prisons.

4. So what, we don't repair them? What is the alternative? Hummers for all? Then we don't have to worry..

5. Light rail is pretty much a joke.

6. There are just as many conservative pork projects as there are liberal pork projects. They just take a different form. How about a war that served no purpose. F8ck the cost. How many of our troops have died and for what? Just in case you are curious, I was active duty for the first one and if daddy would have finished the job, well..

If you are that angry, there are options. Canada is nice this time of year. I hear Mexico is warm.. Hell, there is contract work in the middle east. It's really warm over there. Leave the US if you are so unhappy.
Engadget, you owe me one new Macbook keyboard. "limb concept makes combines fun again"
Looks solid and 300 doesn't sound bad. It looks like it needs to be put on a diet though... Hopefully once it gets past the prototype phase of development it will be slimmed down..
It looks pretty nice. One question. Is it a Daewoo or what ever the Korean GM wing is or is it engineered/manufactured in the good old US of A?

This is curiosity only, not bashing.
Wow. That is awesome. When gas goes back up, Honda dealers are going to be beating customers back w/ a stick @ the 19k price point...
While the resolution is nice.. 1.33 Ghz? That's not atom speed... are we talking Celeron? + the 60Gb hard drive is weak..

I'll wait to pass judgment until price is released, but so far it is sorta meh..
Buy one get one free?

Nah, you wouldn't want either of them!!
Just like the housing crisis is a wake up call for consumers, the problem with these trucks isn't MPG. It is a question of what people can afford. Buy what you want, but don't be crying in two years that gas is 4.00 a gallon again.

A work truck is a work truck and fuel is just one of the expenses of doing business. Some soccer mom crying she can't afford to drive to work AND get her grande latte enema every day invokes no sympathy from me...and it was truly tiring to watch on all the news shows just a couple of months back. How quickly we do forget.

Good for Ford though..in the short term. Hopefully their lineup will continue to improve as they get their small/medium cars back on track.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
