Where did the slide-out keyboard come from? I haven't seen a half-solid rumor of a slideout keyboard. Just wishful thinking.

Or did I miss something?
Jb, I would counter your argument by asking: what if a cornerback completely blanketed a receiver but came up with leg cramps early in the game, sitting the rest of it out, allowing the receiver to go off for the rest of the game? Didn't the receiver win merely by outlasting the corner, or did the corner win based on when he was available even though he came up short as a player and left the game early?

(My point is tangential to yours addressing the winner of the game, but I think Chris sitting out series needs to be accounted for better.)
Shouldn't the drives without Chris result in Jake getting whatever he scored against his other opponents (10,9,8, whatever) and Chris getting ZERO? Yes, it is about the individual head to head matchup, but why does Jake get penalized for Chris not showing up? He gets 10 points for being winded. That makes sense.
Zing, the company Dell bought and is leading this effort, built the Stiletto for Sirius and the Sansa Connect with SanDisk/Yahoo.
I don't understand why people are acting as if the walls of Jericho have fallen down. There are already examples of variable pricing in PBS programming. There have always been rare examples of variable pricing in iTunes. Apple caves when it wants the content and thinks it's worth it. That doesn't mean Apple isn't still going to tell NBC we don't need you as much as you need me.
Engadget, you sure this wasn't faked?
"Things are not looking good Cupertino way -- could this mark the beginning of the end of the Jobs-led Apple corporate structure as we know it? "

I think you missed the SEC's statement that there will not be further charges against Apple, and that they cooperated fully and met the SEC's concerns.

Heinen has to fight because she can be banned from Corporate Governance, and she can put up a good fight. Fred's statement mentions Jobs, but wholly in accord with Apple's statements and what the SEC already knows. He is only trying to explain himself.

Apple didn't go up because today because things aren't looking good. They went up because the story is basically over.

"Imagine a calendar icon that actually always has the right date, a weather icon that actually says the current temp, a music icon showing the album art of the current track/album..."

Don't have to imagine: I've had it for years on OS X.
Their subscriber base does not make them 2nd to iTunes. They are 2nd to iTunes in number of individual downloads purchased... which few other services offer as their major service.
"When are Apple and the Studios going to realise that people exist outside of the United States?"

When foreign governments stop making a clusterfck of trying to get the licensing done?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
