I guess I may be the only person I know who HATED Balmer's. Me and a few friends were there last year and it was a total "bro" crowd who spent all of their time seeing who could outdrink who and being complete asses. To top it off my girlfriend woke up in the middle of the night being filmed by some guy and the staff could have cared less.

In terms of "iconic" hostels I strongly recommend any of the MacBackpacker's hostels in Scotland. Just a cool, but with a much better atmosphere.
Is that 3 month thing still going on? I figure I could take advantage of it for the summer, but I don't see anything about it on their website.
I'm a little confused as to why they dropped octo-core in the base model. Sure the Nehalem is faster but won't those extra cores really come in handy when SL hits? I've been waiting for a MP refresh but maybe I'll pick up a clearance 8 core...
The best episode is when he went to Edinburgh.
Albany, New York! (I mean, its pretty cool)
Damn I could use this.
I want to win!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
