Yes, Apple is just a "fashion" company. The fact that it has a more advanced operating system is beside the fact huh? Ignorance is bliss sometimes isn't it?
LOL Microsoft innovative? Have they lost it? That is the LAST thing I would think. Actually I would give them brand image before innovation if you know what I mean.
The only reason we hear more about Macs when the break is because it has become accepted that PCs (and WHOA Sony's) don't ever work perfectly so why bother worrying. Apple is like the super smart kid in school that gets heavily disciplined for little mistakes because so much is expected of them.
"lesser company" are they really that ignorant??

WOW.

Seems to me that if Microsoft had worked harder on the quality control of Windows viruses would be a problem in the first place. Microsoft sounds like Sony these days.
PS - It's not being "fanboy biased" when the company being ridiculed is the obvious innovator.
Joe Alien - AMEN! That's the truth ain't it?

Apple porducts are currently the best designed and built out there. Period. People expect Apple products to be perfect because that is the ideal they try to achieve. When something goes wrong with one we never hear the end of it because people are shocked. Microsoft's products on the other hand obviously have very little attention to detail and it is taken for granted that something fundamental will go worng with them. Windows is so seriously flawed it isn't even funny. Windows is the flagship of Microsoft so that should tell you something about the difference between these two companies. Ignorance is bliss for some.
I just want to say something about the screen on the Zune that has been bothering me. It has one of those "fake out" black boarders around its screen to give the illusion that it is larger. My Motorola RAZR has the same thing and I notice most cell phones has some sort of bezel around the screen to give the illusion of a larger screen. Now notice how the screen on the iPod has no fakey boarder on it. Flip the iPod screen the other way and add a fake out boarder around it and I don't think the sceens would look all that different. I know the Zune's screen is a little bigger but there is some obvious eye trickery going on to make it seem even more that way. Not good design in my opinion.
So they thing is, Apple would never make something like the Q1. They would simply do it better. The device would have been simpler, smaller and much more intuitive.
Sorry about all the errors in my previous post. I was just so angered by the ignorance. Well that and the fact that I was forced to type this on the cheap Dells we have at work which keep freaking out when I try to open a word document ;)
Yeah so let's see an example of how Apple is terribly run?! I love this claims that people make without any proof. I suppose Apple amazing turnaround in 5 years is because it is poorly run. Face it. Apple is cool, most people agree. You are horrible out of touch with reality. Apple software is way ahead of Microsoft Vista even. Their hardware is amazingly designed. The iPod is not "one golden product." No one can touch their design abilities. You're lying to yourself buddy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
