Hey, 1995 called. It wants its mobile phone design back"

Hey, the 19th century called. It wants its imperial units back.
Swiss Francs. 2008.
I recently bought a pair of HDXB101 from netgear and one of them died after 30 minutes of use. It would still power up but the ethernet link was not detected anymore. I would not be surprised if the recall is extended to this and other models.
This phone is unbelievably ugly.
The radiation sensor could simply be a light sensor.
You guys realize that this is a REAL TIME pcr machine. Not your common thermocycler. But still useless for home use since you first need to extract clean RNA or DNA, and buy primers, probes, fluorescent markers, buffers....
Its not always EU vs. Microsoft. The EU also pressured Apple and investigated Blueray and HD-DVD schemes. I'm sure that many other investigations are going on, they just never make it to Engadget.

I for one am glad that somebody stands up for consumer rights instead of bending over for the big corporations.
And Europe > EU. But hey guys, just keep in your "OMG, US RULZ" attitude if it makes you feel better.
It's not a joke, it's sarcasm. And where are YOUR references to the numbers which show that the european game market is smaller?

Anyway. It doesn't really matter. IMHO the post shows a certain attitude saying that you cannot ignore america because all the money is coming from there. And I don't like this attitute, that's all.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
