These support WMA-lossless right? That's the reason I want one. But they're not available in Canada as far as I've heard so I won't be getting one anytime soon :(
I like the part where that one dude gets killed with let's say a really big sword, and there's lots of blood and sweat and groaning and stuff. That was totally wild!
Nice. I bet the gold trimmings would clash really well with my other home theatre components that have ZERO gold accents. If you're running a setup sophisticated enough that you're considering a mutanized mATX system to set under your TV, visual integration is kinda important. Scratch that, actually, I can turn all my gear backwards so it'll jive with the I/O's!
I could vote for the PS3, but really I'd just be voting for BluRay and 1080p output, and I consider those things simply evolutionary, and also available on other gadgets. I could vote for the Wii but I'd just be voting for its controller. I can't vote for the 360 since that came out last year, though they've added to it with attachable hardware and software patches.
Perhaps a cell phone/PDA thing or some wi-fi box that sends music/video to every electronic reciever in the house would be a more deserving device but I don't know much about those things.
So the HDDVD player on the (relatively) cheap gets my nod.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
