come on people, standard apple customer here, nothing to see, lets move along... i can see where his frustrations may have been stemming from though as the product in particular is known to cause them.
you know, if you were using firefox there is an addon called reload every, with customizable refresh times.
Now the calls will be about why their files are different sizes on different os's and different from the reported download size. not too mention external hd's connected in snow leopard then taken back to a different computer are going to show different sizes and they are going to be calling about that too.
@ Heffeque

the 29 dollar version is not a full install it is an upgrade from leopard disc. You can not do a clean install with that disc unless you clean install leopard first. Thats why the mac box set is a real deal.
the truth is every smart person who wanted backwards compatibility sold their ps2 to buy the original ps3. if you wanted bc, then you should have bought in when that train was rolling, they saw that sales were stagnant for that feature while ps2's kept on trucking so they decided it was better to remove the hardware and go emulation, then they figured emulation isnt selling as much either so lets not put anymore money into making every game compatible with the emulation. Hence some savings in their pockets since they were losing money since day one on the system anyways.
not every xbox game is compatible cause its emulated. i cant even replay fable on my 360 hence i keep my xbox out for most of my xbox originals. i have a 60gb and plan on buying the slim for 2 reasons. 1. Energy costs, if i play the slim instead of my 60gb, it will pay for itself in energy savings in about 6 months. 2. two ps3's means its easier to have friends come over to play psn games like fat princess that are one person per console.
stop charging premiums for brand names, stop living the high life, live the life of the average consumer and we will all benefit from it.
wow, good thing im more of an amd person anyways, i can't believe the audacity of intel. Of course gaming and hd is what we want in nettops and netbooks, i got rid of my msi wind cause i could barely play any games on it at all.
you guys know this is the same as an MSI Wind Netbook right? its just the motherboard placed into a case for a vesa mount. All the ports match up to the netbook version.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
