while i agree with you ... a lot of people said the same thing about the ipod when it came out. Of course replicating that success is difficult but if anyone can do it apple seems to have proved they can.

they've made it clear outside this ad that athey are targeting women. and this ad just confrims that position.

Its actually a very smart move on their part. I think it could work. But I'm A guy I don't kow what 18- 45 female market thinks.

Will the new hard drive cost a billion dollars like the 120GB does now.

Really there is no justiification for the high cost of that hard drive. NONE.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
