Ben:

Instead of playing GTA, why not just turn into a REAL mass murderer?

Insterad of playing PES2008 etc. etc. etc.
Because they're not.
What's wrong with it? I quite like it as n icon for a network feature of some sort.
Yup, half. Microsoft/Apple's target market? Teens and young adults. If you look at any college these days, most people there are using Macs. And if you take away Microsoft's business customers in that glorious 95% market share, you're left with a small proportion of that percentage.
*awfully
Jesus Geoffrey Christ, Joystiq. You sound awg=fully butthurt that someone with a pen and paper finally said something negative about Halo 3. For one, he doesn't hate it. He says it's 'not bad'. And lest we forget he's a PC gamer at heart.
Well done Microsoft. You finally created something better-looking than the iPod, and then you didn't make it Mac compatible. Way to get rid of half your target market.
Game video of the year without doubt.
It's a great concept, and it's perfect for those just starting out (if they decide to have a Gibson SG as their first guitar). Most experienced guitarists can tune the strings in about 15 seconds, though.
I am an anti-Christ, and I am an anarchist....

Oh thanks, Joystiq. That will be in my head all day now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
