Except for the fact that the swf file imbedded into the page:

Only displays the 10" mini 1000 content with the correct query string on the end. Removing the query string or changing the swf name to have "102608" in it will cause it to revert to a gold colored advert about saving $219 on a dv5 special memory offer. IJH had it correct - it's a hype tactic, granted not nearly as subtle as something Steve Jobs would orchestrate, but, hype nevertheless
I would agree, I have never seen one of these. I wonder what happened to people listing their sources for information...that means you Winding Road

Philips Norelco 6in1 Professional Grooming Kit, Please, my roommate begs of you. So I can stop borrowing my roommate's, when I...well...you guy's have watched Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle, right?
Regardless of the spec differences between them, knowing no other details other than Boss Vs. No-name linux counterpart, my guess is that the Boss will sound wayy better, at least for the price.

Boss (a Roland brand) has an excellent track record of delivering audio devices that do what they say they are going to do, with good specs and even better sound. My guess is that the roland piece will retail for $499 & sell in stores for low $300's.
Oqo is screwed...OR maybe they will both drop their prices to something more reasonable, like a grand? ;)
Good points about protecting the card issuer, not the customer. One reason this could be very beneficial is increasing the ease of use for one time credit card numbers, currently it is a huge pain in the ass to get card companies to issue a one time purchase CC number so you can make a purchase on that questionable internet site that has something you just "have to get".

You could have one of these for what are considered risky purchases, like visiting a different country, and one for your repeating bills, etc.

#1. wtf...my thoughts Exactly! (can you read minds?)
I think that OQO's design is the most elegant per square inch over it's competition.

Odd industry prediction: Apple buys OQO, turns the thing white, slap an apple logo on it, call it "iPalmtop", "iPod squared" or some other "i" name, doesn't change a thing otherwise and then the "experts" rave about how "original" "perfect" "new" the design is.
I promise to only run the best OS on it - linux :D
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
