Today's Apple announcements at Macworld 2007 {Engadget}

Jan 13th 2007 7:12PM I have already received many phone calls from friends in Asia saying that they plan to come here to buy the iPhone as soon as it comes out in the US. They all say the $ 499 or $ 599 price tag is "very cheap" and the very slick design by apple is very worth it. Cell phone users in asia are used to paying close to US $ 1000 for a new stylish phone. I think the iPhone will be huge in Asia.
