this seems like a good idea to me. I personally don't think that analog only TV's are that bad but the fact is that analog OTA broadcasts will cease at some point and people should be warned that their brand new TV may have to be replaced, or at least enhanced with some kind of digital to analog converter, in a few years.
I still don't understand why people say ms is leaving early adopters out in the cold.. Yeah it sucks the technology wasn't ready when 360 launched, but that's life. Personally I very happy ms has decided to continue improving their console so that people can get those features now instead of having to wait years.
Also ms will never make hd-dvd internal, it would add hundreds of $ to the price for no real benefit. People need to realize the ms is a software company, and have 0 stake in the outcome of the hd-dvd vs blu-ray war except for the fact the failure of blu-ray would really hurt sony. They are putting in just enough effort to ensure a format war but that's it.

"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
