#7 is right. We've created an economic system where people are so rich that if they don't buy diamond encrusted thumbdrives, the poor don't eat.
They've been using these in northern New York (state, not city, they use other robotic decoys there) for years. Funny thing about them is they're amazingly effective--they've actually nailed the same people TWICE with them. Reminds me of the Steve Martin skit with the frozen steel bar that said, "Chocolate Bar" on it and he kept getting his tongue stuck on it.

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
