If your information is exposed the breached company is required to contact your card admin(ie visa). they will send you a letter with a new card. If the company doesnt, and people steal your money, companies in similar positions have been held responsible (via class action lawsuit).
"the worst possible time for anything video game related being tied into a Google search"

And yet you wrote the article?
I stopped reading the posts but no one has discussed that this guy "Tim" just stuck it to MS, the publisher of there hit game, in a public forum because they were not happy about a negotiation in selling new content.
Tim might want to brush the dust off his resume.
I keep hearing about internet over television airwaves. But no one has commented on whether that would fall under Federal regulation similar to airwaves today. Any thoughts?
I just want to know if the drive will be quieter. Mine runs like a train engine in my living room. The black does look sweet.
The best strategy i could see for them is to go private. Get the fed regulators off there back and concentrate on shaping there image around GTA. They should only hope that they get subpoenaed to testify about violence in games. They really missed out in the hot-coffe mess. All the free publicity about a crazy game that is soo popular and they go and deny they even made it? Slap a mature rating on it and show people what your made of.
Let Proxy season begin!

This guy f'd it up when he had to cower in the hot coffee investigation due to his shady options back-dating. Too bad, they could have sold millions of more copies if they had told the gov to stick it and made an even more explicite version. I'm filing a trademark under "GTA:Unrated".
Answer the question with a question:

Does Joystiq need to distribute print to be legitimized? Or get readers for that matter.
This can easily backfire. Remember if you do like playing long hours of FPS's she cannot play with you. Getting her into halo is like handicapping your shields before playing slayer. My girl loves games but she plays on the old xbox or classic systems. More likely is for her to sit there and read magazines for a few hours while i play. If she likes your games you will have to share every time you want to play. This is not fun (think about the long term here). The best thing to do is find something she likes to do around the house that does not involve you. She can enjoy that for hours while you play. Remind her that you are both doing things you like and that the other will not want to do (every one wins here).
#31 - we use the UK pricing because they speak english and no one likes the French.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
