@chad

A2DP is supported in the new iPhone 3.0 software ($9.99 for iPod touch users, ugh). I can finally listen without the worry of pulling the wires while at the gym.
um, more like $626.
It doesn't necessarily mean Chinese. The characters there can be read "success" in both Japanese and Chinese.
I'm a fan of Panasonic but I just checked out Canon's SD780 IS and it is pretty solid. It is freakishly small and light and has optical stabilization with 720p video recording. I am torn between this and the Panasonic's TZ7.
@Uncontrol

You are correct.

The name is actually a pun for Shakutorimushi (inch worm) combined with the verb Fuku (to wipe). Many Japanese products are named in this kind of manner.
It's a Banglized BMW, it deserves it. I am a fan of Bimmers before Chris Bangle took over.
1080p on a screen size like that? That'd be way overkill, you'd be squinting to read anything on a 10" screen.
Arduino can do anything it seems.
@BarCODE

Your statement is quite far from reality. Apple HAS been dominating the PMP category. With all the hindrance you mention and still trumping the competition when it comes to sales numbers. I do think that this licensing scheme is beyond ridiculous and i sure as hell hope they wouldn't implement this in all their updated iPods coming next round.
Are you not aware that it has always been more expensive to shrink technology? Smaller doesn't mean materials cost goes down, it's usually the other way around. The fact that you could purchase a workable machine the size of this at such an affordable price point was unthinkable even 3 years ago.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
