Under the specifications tab on the Sewell website:
"Max Resolution: 1920 x 1200 (native 24" resolution), 2048 x 1080 (1080p: Full HD for HDTVs), 2048 x 1152, and all standard smaller sizes".

Apparently someone needs to tell them that 1080p HD is 1920 x 1080, not 2048 x 1080, however.
My HTPC pulls about 71 watts while viewing a typical YouTube video, and is quiet. Even if it did cost 5x more than your device (which unless it cost about $70 isn't so), it gives quite a bit more functionality and flexibility.

Personally, I find a wireless mouse as convenient as my remotes, and a wireless keyboard much better for typing in search queries, not to mention responding to blog comments
Light Peak = The Revenge of Firewire

Instead of competing with Intel, this time Apple is working with Intel to create the standard they desire. If this is even half as good as it sounds (regarding speed, cost to implement, etc.), there will likely be no USB 4.0.

USB 3.0 itself might have a rather short period of popularity unless Intel makes the mistake of not including any power provision in the Light Peak specification.

For those thinking Apple will skip USB 3.0, unless Intel (or NVIDIA or ATI) makes motherboard chipsets going forward that omit 3.0, that means Apple would have to purposely leave out the connectors. Given the number of peripherals that require USB 2.0, this would be rather ridiculous.
Too bad it isn't an elite. :)
Might be nicer than my current setup.
"...which can be made easily from practically any type of plant fiber,..."

Apparently the people talking about using trees overlooked this.
I could really use one of these.
I need this. One chance in 7063 is better odds than the lottery. :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
