I got a brand new box from Asus three weeks after they lost my old old. Wow! what quite a **** service.

I hate to tell the truth about the quality of Asus NovaLite desktop PC. I bought it several months ago. It has a touchable power button which is supposed to touch and power on. Well, it worked in the first week. After that, I had to put my finger on it for a long time and rubbed it like I was harrasing a machine. A couple of days later, the NovaLite was like a dead fish without the bad smell. I called up Asus Taiwan. I sent the machine back with its box. More than one week later, I got the PC back with its box. This time, I found my network card working abnormally. I sent the PC back with its box. Well, since you have noticed that I always put the PC in its box, you can expect the PC coming back with its box. Wrong! The PC got back in a different box. What's so important about the box? Not as important as the power cord inside the box. At this time, I found that I had to harrase the PC to get it boot up. I called Asus and told them that I would trade up with a better PC and I would pay extra money for the new one. Guess what? Asus refused. Asus refused. Asus refused. I had to stay with the damn touchable power button. Don't you forget the box? Asus sent a new one to me three weeks later. What can I do with the new box? Not to mention the Novalite being useless.

I am Taiwanese and this is how Asus treats its domestic customer? Case closed for them. But, from time to time, you will see me here. Yes, including you, Asus.

Think thoroughly before you buy.
I bought an AS EP10 ID3 ID900/1G/80G last month. It was a 2-liter PC Box with a touch power button. The touch button just stopped working two weeks later. Is this the quality you will trust?
The two Chinese words under the last two letters of google are the Chinese name of Google. The first word is valley. The second word is song. Google is pronounced similar to Valley Song in Chinese.

It is Ubuntu! It is not M$. Nor is it fruit. Next month I will go to China and buy one. Anyone interested?
The giant e-paper display is just a demo of Delta's e-paper. Currently, Prime View International, another Taiwanese company, supplies Amazon e-paper to be used in Kindle. However, Taiwanese Delta and Japanese Bridgestone (Yes, the tire maker) jointly develop a new kind of e-paper. The display technology, Quick Response Liquid Powder Display, is actually developed by Bridgestone for processing recycle tires. The new product will be cheaper and we can expect cheaper e-book reader this year.
which one do you choose?
Option 1: Taiwan(Winbond, PSC, ProMos, Nanya)+US(Micron)+Japan(Elpida) vs Korea(Hynix)-->cheap DRAM
Option 2: Korea(Hynix) only-->way expensive DRAM

Micron's Borad of Directors visited Taiwan last week to seek for bailout from Taiwan by transferring 50nm technology to ProMos. I don't know what really goes one. But, Taiwan DRAM makers are accounted for 39.5% of global DRAM manufacturing capacity while Hynix is accounted for 39.5% as well. The bailout is meaningful, however, if Micron and Elpida will transfer technologies to Taiwan. This is how option one is feasible and worth of the bailout.
Koreans need more transparent than others.
The time WILL come. Palm, wrte your WILL.
Microsoft Mind Control Mouse: Control You but no Windows
MLC is good for about 10,000 writes while SLC can last 100,000 writes. But, no worry. The USB connector has a very short life cycle which is just 1,500 times of usage. It is fair to say that, howeve, MLC SSD is not good for heavy duty. If you use MLC SSD for running operating system, you will lose important data soon.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
