oh come on the Sprint Hero had Sprint Navigation before the Droid came out:)
youd rather go buy each DVD for $15 instead? whats so inconvenient about this? put disc in, steam your queue or browse the other instantly available videos (including documentaries), and watch. What do you mean its money down the drain if you lose your internet connection? You arent saving anything anyways, and whenur connection is back, continue watching. in the mean time you can still get discs in the mail from netflix.

the people bashing this are really stretching for reasons to dislike it. it costs nothing extra, and gives a ton.
ive been shooting with a canon xsi, and not having IS on a 60mm macro or 10-20mm is pretty annoying in low light. a FF with inbody IS would mean I could shoot 1600ISO and also have 2-3 stops of usable IS... so a helping of 3-4 stops overall. 1/60 instead of 1/3 or 1/4 of a second is huge. shooting 10mm, getting 1/10s vs 1.5s.
@ drumwiz86

youre right, there ARE horror stories about TMobile, and im sure they only won JDP&A surveys is due ot other CS being even more awful. When I requested to speak to a supervisor due to rude CS.. the CSR actually did laugh and tell me Tmobile won some worthless JDPA award. never going back.
I disagree, i give it just a few more years, especially since manufacturers are focusing much more on hands free systems. The biggest problem right now is speech recognition and limited input phrases... and that seems to be on the forefront of items being fixed. I can set the temp in my car by saying "72 degrees" etc, but sometimes (maybe 20% of the time) it will do something else. cut that to 1% and i'd be pretty happy.

Inputting addresses is straightforward, but needlessly long. Every time I have to say "address-->ohio-->columbus-->street-->house number".... i cant just say a street and house and have it search the city im in (and I HAVE to be in the map screen). Stuff like that needs to be fixed, and honestly it shouldn't be too far away.
IDrive- much better to use than before
Comand
MMI - too clunky, awful for scrolling a map, etc, since the dial only spins and cant be tilted

Havent played with the next gen RX350 nav system, but its supposed to be a huge step up from current Lexus systems.
@wii60

so have BMWs .. but if you paid attention youd see the article is talking about an advanced system that recognized casual commands and not only specific words.
Lexus didnt introduce conversational voice input til the 2010 RX350... my IS350 is awful with simple commands... i have to have a cheat sheet of commands. And you cant input a destination from the audio screen via voice, you have to switch it to map mode first.... a lot of cumbersome things.
that ruler isnt helping american manufacturing companies.
i was good at tetris... im starting to lose my hair and the remaining hair is thinning and 20% gray, and im 28.

then again, when i was good at tetris i was 10 and had a wonderful head of hair.... hmmmmm
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
