Let's see that survive the shipping process...
@brown like dookie

You sir win my "Snorted Cornflakes Outta My Nose" award for today.

Excellent!
My airline also treats me like a king...

Edward II, you know, the one who had a red hot poker shoved up his 'arris...

Toodle Pip! Off to be rogered in cattle-class!

@julioangelortiz

Sir, you made a cornflake come out of my nose.

You win the comment of the day!
Good. I hope these take the originals 'round the back and beat the crap out of them. I bought a reconditioned Scooba and the damn thing dies just outside the warranty period...oh, and it scared my dog.
Since I bought an Archos 5 I never travel without it. The only downside is that I don't have a decent pair of earphones...oh wait!
"someone who makes photos" Er...would that be a photographer?
@dennisheadley

Not sure what data you used for your study, but you obviously didn't speak to anyone in the OTR trucking industry.

Typical 18 wheelers are around 40t fully loaded. What's a city bus weigh...4 tons?

The space under the deck of the trailer isn't free for you to fill with batteries. If you add the weight of batteries, you lose payload and that means less money to an owner-operator who is already pinched to the limit. You would need to get all the state governments to raise axle load limits on the roads, upgrade their bridges and budget for increased pavement repair costs)

It might be done with a lot of industry and multi-agency cooperation, but it's nowhere near as easy as you imagine.

Besides, from what I've read, we're going to spend trillions combating global warming, and if we're 100% successful, we may just put off the natural warming cycle by a few years.

Make a martini, pull up beach chair and enjoy the milder winters!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
