Why, because we want to appear in a low-fi early-90's-Avid-effects-laden and terrible-synth-soundtracked commercial, of course. You clearly aren't thinking.
This question is really a consideration of gaming spaces. You are going to hate the microphone if your game space is a private one, because it makes your activity public (unless you're just blowing into it). I don't know of a game yet that understands that to effectively use the mic you need to make the game space broader than the console itself. You need to have a game space that includes the players. I envision a multi player game that creates a game space similar in form to that created by games like Cranium. The console is a passage into the game, the game exists where the players are. Unfortunately video games are dominated by the thought that the equipment is a portal for the player to enter the game's world instead of a portal for the game to enter the player's world. This limits them and kills their relevancy.
I know it's been said, but Eternal Darkness just scared the bejeezus out of me...only game to make me literally put down the controller and back away slowly...Alex in the bath, anyone?
The camera is right there on the face of the device, to the left of the screen.
Here are the real questions: Do n800 users get this Mozilla-based browser with Adobe(R) Flash 9? Is that an OS upgrade I see here ( http://www.nseries.com/index.html#l=products,n810 ) or just a skin? "Memory expansion slot" is singular on the website...is there only one?
So I've just calmed myself down from shouting obscenities at my computer, as I have just received shipping confirmation of my n800. Oh well, I guess the n810 will be a Christmas present for myself along with my neo1973 (Gadget God willing). Fingers crossed that us n800 users will get the software love that the n770 users didn't...
Best Scripter: Salvador Dalgleish...his Elephant Av script may not be the most high-tech...but provides great entertainment to everyone around him and sparks conversation and interest in LSL wherever he goes

Best Linden: Teeple Linden...gots a good sense of humour about his job
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
