Nov 10th 2009 9:51AM No offense intended but I would've figured you and your guild had Val'anyr, many times over, a long time ago. This is a nice space-taking article though- as everyone with Val'anyr already knows how the item works, and anyone who ever has a shot at getting one (i.e. any level 80 healer with 4 hours a week (worst case) to down Ulduar) does as well.
I'm not entirely sure what this article's purpose is... heh.

Nov 1st 2009 1:51AM I'd agree with everything you say minus the last point- A holy priest is a solid main healing assist if nothing else. I bounce ProM off of our main tank and keeping a renew rolling certainly doesn't hurt. I admit, we're no holy paladins or disco (lights and lasers) priests, but likely better suited to the job than a resto shaman, as it were.

Oct 31st 2009 2:04AM I'm hoping by 'was' you point your comment at Naxx v1, and not lolNaxx. I agree that the original version of Loatheb was a healer's worst nightmare (not really, but I'm sure I'm not the only healer that chewed his nails to bits) but the new-school faceroll is almost laughable. Get a block tank, blow heroism and collect epics. Bleh.

Oct 31st 2009 2:02AM Alright, colour me impressed, Blizzard. I foresaw a 'dragon of nightmare' cooldown fight or a standard dragon faceroll fest- so this is quite the interesting mechanic. This sort of fight is what keeps me invested in Blizzard's ability to design awesome encounters. Fights this expansion like Mimiron and Freya, Faction Champions (sorta), and now Valithria Dreamwalker. Kudos, blizz.

On a related note- a quadriplegic can get the safety dance achievement on the first run- and fully functioning (I presume) people manage to fail it all the time. Kudos to him.

Oct 17th 2009 1:06PM That makes massive, massive amounts of sense. Bolvar is either warped by the LK into an undead, freed once we kill him; or Bolvar is still holding out, picks up the LK's helm and becomes the benevolent scourge leader.
Either of which leads to him becoming a member of the Forsaken.
