The Sansa Clip+ (and Clip) have surprisingly good audio quality - sure, they're small and simple, but they do what they do well.
@dsp4

hoho, well played.
@jefwif Yeah, I'll be taking my plunge with one of these here new CPUs.
Perhaps it's best that I waited to build a new PC.
also want. what the hell does activate even mean.
If it's a distro of Linux, why can't it instant-on into Chrome OS, let you check up on news etc and let a more serious, "heavy" OS load in the background (like Ubuntu)?

Once that heavier OS has finished loading, transition Chrome OS into a Chrome browser window inside the heavier OS.

Or provide me with a virtual machine tab.. Let me load up Ubuntu or Windows if i so choose, and make an intermediary folder available by default to save files within the guest OS for access from the host and perhaps insertion into the cloud.

Free food for thought.
...oh right, you guys do have those mobile and HD sites too.

I was thinking for a second that you might be offering the classic layout as an alternative to the new one (if you should so choose), alongside a mobile layout. And of course this is the HD layout.

My mistake.
Exciting. What's the deal with the HQ/Classic/Mobile?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
