I don't understand why Apple have not done it yet.
They should have release the same time OS 3.0 came out.
And by now several companies could be selling clam shell cases for iPhone with keyboards.
And the ideal one is home dock for charging, with larger screen, build it speakers, mic, front facing camera and full size keyboard.
even though I think it is stupid and will only lead to a lot of confusion with very limited benefit. (probably the primary motivations are either bribes to ICANN officials from registrars or their hope to be first in squatting game).
It would be logical and useful to sync character set of domain name with character set of TLD endting.
like водка.ком and водка.ру instead of водка.com or водка.ru
it will help with lowering confusion with names like coca.com or POCBAHK.ru
I wonder if 4 of the panels can be used to create a joined larger screen.
there are many 30 inch LCDs (more than 10 according to http://30inchlcds.com) that just having an OLED is the large one will might be a popular option
it all sounds reasonable, but then, if I pay for new iPhone the full price, AT&T must unlock all my previous iPhones.
I have a nice black and orange $20 Sharp watch, but e-ink is what I really want, so no other watch comes any close, not rolex not smolex whatever.
Nokia just does not know how to make flip phones, their engineers made horrible software and usability design choices.
It is very very very unlikely that Apple would allow any one to run Mac OS X on non-Apple computers any time soon.
It is almost as unlikely for virtual computers. But there is hope.
One is the virtual computer that is running on Windows or Linux host - here it is as unlikely as hardware box. However if the host is a Mac - we have a chance. Virtualization has a big momentum now and there is a pressure on Apple to stay competitive. Since they do not offer blade servers virtual server for Mac OS X would be a desired feature for IT shops that want to use Macs, yet do not want/need 10 hardware boxes.

If Parallels or VMWare release a product that allows to install Mac OS X using just OS X installation DVD they will be sued like no tomorrow and they know that so they won't, more than that if somehow folks can find a way to use standard OSX on some hacked Parallels - Apple will force them to "fix" it ASAP

I just wish Apple would have decent remote desktop that is comparable in performance to windows RDC, and allow multi-user login. Because remote use of Mac OS X is pathetic right now, VNC, ARD and Timbuktu are not even close to RDC.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
