Got mine today. They tried me with the whole "coupon" thing, which the sales rep admitted she called a mgr over to get it sorted out earlier and she first told me no coupon, no phone.

I walk outside and phone reward zone. Rep on the phone was VERY helpful *shock wearing off* and wound up speaking with her supervisor, then the mobile rep in the store (she asked me to hand her the phone). Within 30 minutes, all was sorted out and I had my Hero for $179.

If you go to the Tampa/Dale Mabry store, they now know that you do NOT need the coupon.
I have one reserved and awaiting me at my local Sprint store for Sunday morning at 11am.

I simply cannot wait.
In what world does this look even remotely like a GT-R?
Awwww ... cmon, where's the big screen high res CDMA Android handset, HTC?
"My $40,000 (in 2004) convertible Cobra mustang cost 350 dollars to replace the ECU. In my GFs M3 BMW (similar price) it was over a 900. I did my own labor both times. Everything associated with luxury German brands is anywhere from slightly, to drastically more expensive. AC compressor is $900+ vs 250-300 for the American car. "

Sorry, did you mean to infer the M3 was $40k at some point? I'd venture to say the M3 to which you refer, cost more in the range of $55k-$70k depending on trim levels.

Your GF's M3 uses MANY super high performance parts and for the most part is hooked up to be on the track moreso than the street. The ECU is so expensive because they actually put WORK into how that ECU was configured unlike Ford who pays less money to engineer their cars. The springs, struts, brake rotors, clutch, transmission etc is FAR more advanced than anything in that Cobra Mustang.

It is all relative, but certainly not arbitrarily.
Those Germans. All you have to do is tell people it's from Germany and it's supposed to mean "quality".

This is the Sham-CPU, it's made in Germany, how could it be bad?
"Dude, I don't care if it IS christmas, your dog is totally gay."
Opera Mini already does MySpace ... and has for some time.
Voice over CDMA over IP? Interesting ... hopefully Verizon jumps on this bandwagon too. Seems WAY more compatible than needing a WiFi phone.

To the previous poster, they likely just use IMEIs to tie the phone to the router ... much like MAC address filtering in a standard internet router.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
