'Brick' MacBook Pro leaked in up-close spy shot? {Engadget}
Oct 8th 2008 4:14PM I am not sure i understand how this is all that much different than the macbook pro on my desk, i have a single piece of aluminum for the top, and the bottom that is connected by a nice soft maleable piece of plastic that can take a beating on the edges.
What i don't understand is how a single piece of aluminum is better than multiple, isn't it easier to take apart and fix if it is multiple pieces? Can someone give me a real legitimate reason for making these things out of a single piece that makes them that much better than a typical laptop with a strong skeleton?
and to make this remotely close to answering your question: Keyboard flex doesn't seem to exist too much anymore, they back these things as tight as they can - i just pressed a finger down on the "g" key and saw no movement...

Oct 7th 2008 10:08PM I am still happy with my old Saitek keyboard. It is sturdy and minimalist, it has great response, and it is practically unbreakable (but not as much as the mechanical keyboards of yor)

Oct 4th 2008 6:22PM I smiled when you stated that the executives cannot buy or sell shares either. It makes me happy to learn that they are treated the same as any other employee at seemingly rare times

Oct 3rd 2008 1:31PM This car looks masculine to me, the front looks extremely aggressive and the angles throughout help build on that. I am still not sure about the back end, but that might just be me.
I would really like to see this design theme implemented on a sedan form.

Sep 24th 2008 4:29PM It is only a matter of time before devices come out that can limit the imput terminals into a device like this, denying it certain data to record (speed for instance) or just turn off the box altogether.
There are always people who are smarter than these machines and you can bet they want a piece of the profit.
