Nice!
So we'll get XBMC on the N900 right? RIGHT? :D
So will this be open to competition as a standard or will it be a royalty crap, sony style format, like i think IEEE1394 was (at least at some point)?
unless it runs Maemo, I'm not interested...
HD-555 sound great _and_ are very comfy... (no leather or plastic!)
They should ship with a well designed/integrated version of the 10400 mAh found on eBay...
All it needs is a GPS now? :P
(ok yes you need SD cards added, but it's still cheaper by the gig and it's solid state ;-)
Uhm, nokia n800 has all that for almost a 3rd of the price and the n810 has more for less too...
Oh and are both extensible linux platforms, not crappy windows ones ;-)
Problem is this one won't fit in any pockets...
That's the problem with the current breed of umpc (beside maybe the OQO2 which i didn't touch yet), if i have to get a bag, why not get a laptop?
Noooo! We need a save 8-bit campaign! or an open/free source the hardware specs !
(ok yes we already know everything, but come on ... ;)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
