Wow, thought I was the only one with this issue.

To fix this, all I did was the same thing, only within Adium. i.e. Switch the privacy preferences around and revert back. All of a sudden, all your friends show up on your buddy list. Weird.
Am I the only one who has not been able to get this working at all? Since I've downloaded the update 6 hrs ago, I've been stuck on the second step, "Sending information to Apple..." and I just tried emptying preferences and disabling firewalls to no avail. I only have 5000 songs and I haven't heard anything about Apple's servers being overloaded. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. =[
This is good news...as long as developers don't turn the iPhone into another facebook and rape us with tons of crappy, cheesy, novelty apps that don't really do anything beneficial.
Yes Gareth, that's exactly what I do. How did you know!

Ignorant prick

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
