@ Neil: Studies have shown that talking to someone on the phone is more distracting than someone in the car because you concentrate more on the conversation. Just because common sense says something doesn't mean it is correct.
It's like hving a movie always going in the background behind the text. Nobody wants that.
There is nothing wrong with using a gasoline generator in a car. Most modern locomotives use diesel generators to power electric motors. Seperating the engine from the drive train yields significant increases in efficiency.
I see they still haven't figured out how to get the main option to fit on the screen. I've never seen a device cut off a letter like in "Marketplace". All they had to do was reduce the font size a tiny amount and it would look much better.
I'm pretty sure that is West, Texas in the middle of DFW. This is probably the first time Wichita Falls has gotten any advanced technology before DFW.
The specs they chose to feature aren't impressive at all. The iPhone has generally lagged in the hardware department and made up for it with the interface but the specs presented are highly comparable.
I wouldn't trust a device to be any good if they can't even fit the main menu items on the screen. Didn't anybody notice the "e" in "Marketplace" is slightly cut off? If they missed that little detail, who knows what else they missed.
There is no 3GS in terms of network speeds. 3GS is soley the name for the most recent iPhone.
Anybody know if it will sync tasks? Notes are nice but tasks would be better but I haven't seen any mention of them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
