Jul 30th 2008 8:34AM YAY! I went to the University of Sheffield.
I also interviewed for a PhD place in this research group, so I might have ended up working on this project if hadn't decided to get a crappy job instead! :(

Jun 9th 2008 7:13AM ARGH! I know saying this makes me a whiny little bitch, and I'm sure I'll get "lowest ranked", but.....
Why does everyone moan about Crysis so much?!? I not long ago got a new mig-high end rig that runs Crysis at max settings smoothly and with no problems at all. If you were to price it up now with post-Christmas prices it would be not much over £1,000 (inc. 22" monitor).

Apr 28th 2008 7:11AM Unfortunately, the collective will of a million fanboys will NOT make a 3G iPhone appear in June.

I think its fair enough to have autonomous control for things like movement, aim, trajectories, etc... but it should ALWAYS be a human making the decisions. Maybe a pilot of the future will be in control of a whole squadron of fighters. They fly themselves and he just chooses where to go/who to shoot at.

Feb 27th 2008 8:48AM Errr.... no, its MICROSOFT that has been stifling competition. That what this was all about. Have you even read it?!

Intel's Skulltrail QX9775 x 2 never met a benchmark it didn't like {Engadget}
Feb 5th 2008 7:29AM Ironically, Crysis doesn't actually NEED this kind of CPU power at all. Its all shaders and barely uses the CPU. I play on a £45 E2140 clocked to a measly 2.5GHz and it never even reaches 100% usage!!
