"Freeverse is only publishing here -- the game is developed by a company named Strange Flavour"

Not to pile on, but you act like Strange Flavour is some sort of new entity, that hasn't made any games before.

Come on, TUAW, you can do better.
Er, am I (or Joystiq) missing something? That second screenshot in the article, when you're viewing a friend's contextual menu - the one with the LocoRoco icon - has a "Start New Chat" option.
It should also be noted that this will be the first report to contain information on sales of the iPhone 3G, assuming they do go on sale on July 11th without a glitch.

Apple's quarter closes this week, so there's absolutely no reason the iPhone 3G sales would appear on this quarter.
There's multiple portions to the UPnP spec; this is the port mapping part, not the media sharing part.

So, no.
"With PS3 versions of both franchises heading to America this year, Sony plans on using the internet to expand the feature set into something much more appealing to American tastes."

"Buzz! Quiz TV is currently aiming for a Summer release in Europe, with no word yet on an American release."

Er. Which is it, guys? Is it releasing this year, or are there no plans yet for an American release?
Is this going to be shipped in a bundle with DJ Max 2 DS?
So you don't actually make any effort to source or confirm a very obviously faked wikipedia page. You instead post it as news. Then, after it gets deleted, you leave this post up.

What is this, Drudge Report?
I don't know how you can figure the record companies are behind this; wouldn't they prefer that you have to continue to buy the whole album no matter how many singles you bought?
John, just to be clear - I was incredibly happy with WWDC for the three years I've gone (2004-2006). I've filled out surveys to this effect every year.

My comments are only about the announced sessions at this point for 2007, which I can only hope are not reflecting the final (or even semi-final) track schedule.

I will not be attending WWDC this year (damn position change!), so my personal feelings are of less a concern. Thanks for the tip, though.
"Another interesting area of focus that is apparently new to WWDC is on the enterprise, as Apple seems to be coming on strong with an entire track of Information Technology sessions and labs aimed at system admins, IT managers and content production professionals."

I'm sorry, but where the **** have you been, TUAW?

The IT track has been a mainstay of WWDC for at least the last three years. In fact, if anything, the announced sessions today are *disappointing* for people on that track, because they only announced 9 sessions - over half of which have either been done every year - Introducing (insert OS revision here), Scripting For SysAdmins - or slight revisions on things that have been done before ("Building Powerful Web 2.0 Applications with WebObjects" was "WebObjects and Web 2.0" last year).

Last year, there were 34 session on the IT track, and only one of them was a "hands-on" or "lab". Keep in mind, this is a week-long conference. 34 sessions over 5 days averages to about 7 a day (and Monday is always a light day). 9 session over 5 days is depressing.

And granted, sessions get announced after the keynote, because inevitably new things get announced that were secret before the conference - but the IT track usually gets only a small portion of these sessions. My quick count shows that of those 34 last year, only 5 were directly relating to Leopard.

I was seriously underwhelmed by the announced track list today, and I suspect I'm not the only one.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
