Funny you should say that, OSX works quite well on my XPS M1330. And the pricetag was a lot lower than your fabled MBPs. And it had better specs. And it has a replaceable battery and user-serviceable parts. The only reason "Dell's don't run OSX" is because Apple refuses to let their software run on other manufacturer's hardware, it's not like Apple PCs are better in some way.

Get used to it. The day Apple switched from PowerPC to X86, you lot lost any right to brag about being different.
Despite all the naysaying, it's a perfectly good idea from a marketing point. Russia and a large part of Eastern Europe are quite notorious for their software piracy. If Microsoft pays for part of their hardware in exchange for them using a legitimate copy, it'll be a gain for Microsoft (licensing fees) and a gain for the consumers (discounted hardware) in Russia.

If you just want to bash Microsoft however, that's another story entirely.
Now that's shiiiiiny.
And again.
Last minute save!
Me again.
If at first you don't suceed, get some sleep.
Another shot.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
