This is a massive promo video. Massive, I tell you.
Quite honestly, I like that I have to reboot to play games. Keeps me from playing too much...
Yeah, you guys having crash problems better start looking at your own systems for the solution. Between my girlfriend and I, we've got four macs of varying ages all running quicksilver and leopard, and we've had no qs crashes on any of them.

And yes, having a girlfriend that uses quicksilver is the greatest thing in the world, in case you were wondering.
I've got a brand new MBP w/ Multitouch right here, and I can confirm this is in the pref pane.

Multitouch is neat (I just blew away our IT guy showing it off) but it's a little janky in it's implementation. There are really only a few programs you can use it it, and sometimes it has wierd assignments, ie pinching/stretching zooms in Preview but not in iPhoto.

Anyway, I'm more excited about the future of this tech than it's current implementation.
I've never figured out why Apple likes giving specific apps powers that seem like they should be in the Sys. Prefs. Like Image Capture, but also giving Safari the preference pane to determine your default browser. How many times have I had this silly conversation:

Someone Else: Hey, how do I make [Firefox/Camino/Etc.] my default browser?
Me: Change the default browser preference in Safari.
Someone Else: What? Why do I have to go into Saf-
Me: Just do it.
Yeah, I hear it, of course there are "good business reasons" for the decision, corporate partners to be had, etc. That's what makes the world go 'round. As a personal matter of opinion, though, I like my wi-fi free, my coffee shops impractical, and my businesses local. I'll go back to my hole now.
Gah, I can't believe Starbucks charges for Wi-Fi. Any friendly neighborhood shop has been giving it away for years, and you get to support something in your community, not a big company based a thousand miles away (to be fair, I'm in Seattle...). Anyway, being able to stand in front of one with your iPhone/MB would be nice, I guess.
If you put 2 fingers on the trackpad and click, it registers a right click. They've been doing this since 2004.
Yes, but does your old iPod work? Good luck getting a price on ebay for a brick. It sounds (confirm?) like you can give apple a brick for $30. That's a good deal.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
