60GB Xbox 360 pops up in Target -- where else? {Engadget}
Jul 28th 2008 8:35PM Newegg.com has the exact harddrive that Microsoft charges $180 for (of course, in it's propietary casing) selling for $64.99.

So, those that want to say that the price of the 120GB HDD is reasonably priced, if you really consider $115 markup reasonable...or maybe the propietary case is just really really expensive.
60GB Xbox 360 shows up for preorder at Circuit City, two days later than Amazon {Engadget}
Jul 20th 2008 6:05PM While Microsoft clearly blew away the other consoles at E3...
...instead of changing the 20GB XBOX into a 60GB XBOX...
Why not charge REASONABLE prices for harddrives and/or allow legal upgrades to be done by oneself. The XBOX harddrive situation is ridiculous as they charge about double retail value of the harddrive itself.
PlayStation video download service is live {Engadget}
Jul 16th 2008 1:20AM While I have to agree that Sony is still playing catch up while Microsoft is playing innovator (and I hate saying that about Microsoft, but they are setting the pace in the console market)...Sony still has my main attention for the two reasons that they don't use ridiculous Point system and allow for actual purchase price purchases (compared to a minimum $5/10/20 ect.) and they allow me to upgrade harddrive for a reasonable price (fair market price of a harddrive).

Jun 21st 2008 7:05AM Here's an idea for Microsoft and their accessories:
REASONABLE PRICES. No "special advertising deal", just reasonable prices.
Deal of the Day: tons of cheap Blu-ray movies {PS3 Fanboy}
Mar 21st 2008 6:34PM I may have to start eating my (Blu-ray hating) words as Blu-ray movies are being priced very attractively...[now how about the stand-alone players?]
I'm sticking with DVD's for now and until new release titles are equal to that of DVD...
Guess the patch 2.4 release date and win! {WOW Insider}

Feb 15th 2008 2:33PM This statement is so far from reality...HD TV is not the be all - end all that the media blitz wants us to believe it to be...While HD would be nice, it would by no means stop large amounts of consumers from participating in this program.
HDTV is not the dominant television in the household and at their current costs, it will be some time before it is.
