This could be the first video footage of Windows 7 {Engadget}
Jan 25th 2008 7:16PM Yeah, to agree with others, in Media Center is says copyrighted in 2006 as well as blatantly labeling it as part of Windows Vista. Am I wrong? For some reason, I don't see the people working on Windows 7 to change things like the login UI to show "Windows 7 Ultimate" and still let the software identify itself as part of Vista. -shrugs- I think it's fake. But I'm not 100%.
HP preparing Pavilion HDX 20-inch gaming laptop? {Engadget}
May 5th 2007 7:21PM You just pointed it out to be what it's meant to be. A portable keyboard and monitor with a computer's components inside. :P Silly.
Black Xbox 360 with 120GB HDD and HDMI due for April? {Engadget}
Feb 14th 2007 10:22PM Fun. Now we can all go get a new one for a different color, and have it look like the original and not the 360. At first glance at least. :P
Horntones blasts any tune through your car horn {Engadget}
Feb 14th 2007 10:19PM Ugh. This provides stalkers with a new weapon. Now when they see someone they like they can follow them and suddenly have Gollum's voice from The Lord of the Rings say, "My precious..." *shivers* Creepy.
Is Vista the end? Ballmer says there's "plenty more where that came from" {Engadget}
Jan 30th 2007 9:39PM Seeing as how Mac OS Anything is just bits and pieces of Linux put together with a few nifty pictures and gadgets, I don't see how you can knock MS for copying Mac. Besides, business is where you see a good product and attempt to compete with it. Copying isn't an issue. Ex. Zune vs. iPod Zune has already claimed 5-10% of what Apple had with the iPod, and though the iPod will likely stay in the lead, now MS is making money, which is what they wanted. Hello? Understand now? Vista, as I've seen, is being knocked around by people like WildTangent for incompatible games. This is because drivers for everything aren't out yet, and they had to cut a lot of awesome stuff to meet the release date. I probably won't get Vista for at least a year because of bugs that will naturally show up. (And if you haven't seen the tech news talking about Mac flaws being fixed, then get over yourself because Mac OS has flaws, too.) After a year, there'll probably be a Service Pack out, too.
