They want you to see more of the ads.
Also, there are people with good taste and people with bad taste. You fall into the latter group.
Funny because us Apple fanboys are supposed to be the ones obsessed with looks, yet you are the one that brought looks up. We were talking about customer service. The other comments about how this computer looks do not mention Apple so it's not fair at all to assume they are Apple fanboys.
This is going to smell like fanboyism here but your description of Dell's support is night and day away from my experience with Apple's over the phone customer support. I've never been kicked around to different departments, I've never waited more than 3 minutes, and I've always had a native english speaker to talk to.
What? So pushing a button is considered work? How about twisting a doorknob or even walking for that matter? Heck, thinking, blinking, or digesting food could even be considered work if you take the concept to it's natural end.
He has a lot in common with most people that rip on Macs. Most have never used them for any extended period of time. Those that did usually went into it without an open mind.
"I should say instant rice. It's certainly much cheaper than this thing."

Once you try rice cooked in a good cooker (I have a Zojirushi cooker), you can't go back to eating instant rice. It's like eating bread cooked in the microwave vs toasted in the oven.
"Something like this is more likely suited for use in a restaurant or something, which I bet it is marketed for."

No, it's way too small for a restaurant. Also, a restaurant would not need the benefits this cooker provides which is much faster cooking times. They would buy a couple of larger cookers and start them in the morning and then they have rice for the rest of the day.

This product is clearly aimed at the wealthy asian rice lover who wants good rice fast.
"Windows Mobile 6"

That's a joke, right? Cause Windows Mobile is a joke. I know, I've been using it for 2 years.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
