@Tom

I'm not sure.. Gran Paradiso seems to be the codename for the nightly build of 3.0 but opening the link below (which has always given me the latest build) and unpacking it identifies it as Minefield 3.1a1pre

Are you suggesting that Holland has no roads? Or that Dutch people don't drive? Or maybe nobody lives there?
I'm fairly sure that with a population density higher than any other European country (and every US State other than New Jersey) they're a worthy candidate for such a system.
For those on apple's side on this one - this isn't a warning this is a threat.
The folks at Apple are effectively saying they don't care for people adopting their technology at an early stage and promoting their sales through making third-party applications available that you've developed on your own time and had to spend hours working round their unnecessary locks to implement. They have the power and they shall use it, and you can damn well be happy that you had but a glimpse of their glorious phone.

They did well with the ipod but their latest invention is just way too expensive, lacks functionality and now, possibly, will be turned off by it's overlord masters. pff
I've found a fairly minor bug.
When clicking on a calendar that I only have free/busy rights to (I can't see event details, just free/busy), a "Sorry, Calendar is unavailable right now" error message shows up.
Doesn't really bother me, just thought I'd mention it for someone somewhere to read!
How much power does this thing consume??? I'd be much happier if it just had wired-in switches that dont consume power when they're idle
Over here, scooters are generally 50cc and incapable of going any faster than 35mph.. Why? Does the article refer to something else?
Oh dear. Now not only do we have to listen to the whiney 'ning-ning-a-ding' of oncoming teenagers on scooters, now we have to listen to their music too?
How about,, American market is declining, European market is growing,, hell as soon as Oil starts to be traded in euros all we wont be seeing any new laptops for a long time.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
