Because every last citizen of every oil producing nation has a Veyron in his garage. :P
Steel is a combination of materials (an alloy), so the term refers to many different types of materials with different properties.
Same with plastic, or ceramic, or glass, or just about anything.
The Malibu is likely miles apart from whatever the Bel Air is made of. Heck, one will rust and the other won't, at least for awhile.

Go back to 4chan.
I remember reading that when Porsche designed the new 997, it was designed as a convertible first and a coupe second in terms of design and chassis structure. IIRC The cabriolet is as stiff as many other cars with a full roof.

I guess this is what happened with the 370z. Good going Nissan.

ITS SMILING BECAUSE IT WUVS YOU!
It's strange... from the front silver gray cabriolet with the red leather interior looks like a Boxster.

Uh. Yes. Sales suck on the M.
You can buy a 2 year old M35 (VQ35 engine) for $25k when they're new at $50k.
If the G competes with the BMW 3, the M35 competes with the BMW 530i, but without BMW's iffy reliability record.

If I didn't have money going elsewhere, I'd pick one up at that price, no problem.
The current M is very good and very bland like the pre-oragami Acuras.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
