Wow, all those 4%s on those 99c apps must really add up!
Thank you for changing the i.engadget.com site back the way it was, but...

In IE the site is totally borked... Agest to load because of all the linked ads, lists and boxes, no 'Submit' button on the comments page, different sized fonts all over the place, crashing scripts (I just lost 3 browsers of pages because of that, so thanks) etc...

In Safari not so bad, but still slow to load, the headers on page 1 fill a whole screen etc...

I appreciate you're trying to be funky and all, but at the moment it's all just a bit annoying in Safari, and useless in IE... Sorry but I think I'll be off... pity
Clearly a lot of new features... However, seems to load even slower, and is harder to read.

And i.endaget.com - why change the font on opening articles there? Now pretty much unreadable to my eyes...
Tim - the restriction to Apple hardware doesn't seem to do much good... Just as someone who has just splashed a bunch of cash on a 27" iMac.
All posts went up, perfectly formatted and edited at 12.01. In the publishing and news world non-disclosures abound, and like I said earlier that is fine. In the Macbook post they've had hands on as well, there is no problem with any of this.

What is a bit silly is for Engadget, supposedly a tech news blog reporting all that's fit to report, to open a piece on one hand about the store going down and pretend like they know nothing about what is going on, and on the other already have the details available.

I don't feel cheated, in fact I could hardly care less, but please Engadget, be a bit consistent...
Looks like engadget were 'made aware' of these updates to post them all at once...

That's fine, but why pretend they didn't know anything, and fiegn excitment about the store going down, what's coming etc...?
It's a big 'look at me' in the same way as a toddler having a tantrum, and lying on the floor screaming...

It really is time they started behaving like a grown up.
The most annoying thing about this is that the police in the UK spent about 15 years and hundreds of millions of pounds developming thier own radio network... Seems that's getting replaced with some free handsets on a £30 an month plan.

Another brilliant example of public sector procurement...
Nice... but that dial is going to become a real pain about 10 minutes after starting to use the thing...
Wouldn't using a multitouch trackpad you just might happen to have on your laptop produce exactly the same result?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
