No kidding! I saw the picture before reading the words and thought it was the next-gen FJ. I have a lifted one in my driveway right now, and they could be brothers. Who would have thought that Hummer would stoop to copying Toyota designs?
But, credit where credit is due... that thing looks awesome and I would definitely drive it. It's smaller than my FJ, so I guess I can turn that over to my wife as the "family car" and get me one of these ?!?
PLEASE do this in the U.S. This is a really important restriction even if it's tough to enforce. In the UK roads are mostly smaller and vehicle density is often greater - you need to really pay attention. In the U.S. we are just too lax to begin with - I'm all for taking away licenses from people who don't drive like my life depends on it.
2 seconds won't cut it (unless you are really planning that shuffle-jump-roll-shoot move well in advance), but if they get it down to actual reaction times it could make for a cool gaming genre - one where the enemy is figuring you out as fast as you are so that you have to "think" false moves in order to fool them into making fatal mistakes. Great mind-body training I'll bet.
And a hefty price tag to go with no doubt. I'm actually looking forward to digital picture frames becoming inexpensive so I can hang them all over my house (or more likely give them to the Grandparents so that I have an easy out for Xmas presents forever after).
$47 in 2 years compared to $175 "today"... isn't that simply the process of economics? I expect the $147 laptop to be $47 in 2 years and an new $150 version to be in it's place with last-gen tech. What's the big deal?
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
