Did ANYONE ask for them to take our beautiful, intrinsically simple and artistically beautiful dashboard to be changed into some stupid Rare family toy so that Rare can get their "kiddy" market.
Give me simple and easy to use over "Oh look at the different pairs of shoes I can wear," ANYDAY!
I, as a 'hardcore' gamer really really don't want this - Avatars are an ADD ON. They should SUPPLEMENT the already present interface, not replace it.
We complimented the Xbox 360 interface and pointed out that it was "the way to go" when PS3: Home was introduced. So what the hell happened??? Omfg.
The Dashboard was not perfect, but it was efficient. I do not wan to have to go searching around in a "3D spacial environment" for my games, arcade titles or movies. I just want to go to the movies blade and watch them.
Stop playing to Rare with your decisions Microsoft! you cut back on a Hard Drive because of them, you caved to the Newton because of them and now this.
Can anyone say "not worth it."

Mar 24th 2007 7:06PM Actualy Mages can pull this off, all you nedd to do is Ice Lance pull as you run, have the Arathi Basin trinket, be deep frost and be a good mage. Oh and P.S if you spell steal the "Flame Sheild" buff from the Scarlet Mage's you will get a buff that deals 75 Dmg every 3secs... + All your +spell damage. I had it ticking for 1k with trinkets up!

Feb 3rd 2007 6:33PM hehe, to the poster above who mentioned the Mage PoM+Sheep+ Slowfall
Blizzard doesn't let it happen. You cannot Poly or disorientate a Flying mount.
However there is another useful Mage trick (I'd fraps it but I'm using a Mac):
Step 1: Mount up and find a target.
Step 2: Dismount and Slowfall in the direction the target is moving.
Step 3: Burn ALL your single target instant casts. e.g; Fire Blast (If you are PoM Pyro specced, that to) Icelance a couple of times,
Step 4: De-activate Slowfall by right-clicking on it.
Step 5: And Blink just before you hit the ground, this not only saves you from fall damage but also can put you behind the target if you time it right.
Step 6: Frost Nova and IceLance own the bitch, lol.
Have fun my fellow Mages, you can get off 2 -3k damage before you hit the ground. Just remember to CS that heal if they can heal.
