Chris, you will find that these products from Tomtom are first and formost designed for in car use. That thickness of the 300 accounts for the large speaker and the decent speech volume when you are driving.

It is correct, the icons are mirrored. Its just a rendering; the blending mode on reflection is haywire hence the body reflecting white not black.
