creating a NTFS read/write driver for Unix is already done! It's called ntfs-3g, and works consistently and reliably on linux. All apple needs to do is port the driver to OS X, which is totally feasible.

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if this makes it into the next release.
I have absolutely no idea what this article's about...

TOO MANY ACRONYMS!!!!
wtf!
my fingers are crossed!!!!!!!!!!!
quite frankly, every time he's says "quite frankly", a newborn puppy, quite frankly, dies. Quite frankly.
that picture is just gross
i call BS also...let's see some real progress
This pocket pc is great, but there are some drawbacks...For one, don't forget that the display is QVGA, which looks pretty sad if you're used to a VGA display. The key pad IMHO is pretty useless because it's not big enough to type with all ten fingers yet it is big enough to add significant thickness and weight, thereby decreasing the overall form factor. It also uses a 2.5mm headphone jack, which could be a good thing or bad thing. If you already own a bluetooth headset with a 2.5mm jack, then you're in luck. If you're planning on using normal 3.5mm headphones, you have to use an adaptor. I'm curious about how decent the 200mhz processor on the 8125 is...

I'm gonna wait for someone to port over the HTC Universal to America, or I might just end up importing i-Mate's version called the JasJar. VGA screen, functional keyboard, normal SD slot instead of a mini SD...now I just need $1000.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
